Sparks! Beginner Gymnastics - Session 2

The Sparks program is where kids finally get action and traction in gymnastics. In this program we teach athletes gymnastics shaping concepts, build a core of strength and train equilibrium. At this level we begin working on a real gymnastics event rotation. On vault and trampoline, athletes will learn to run aggressively and jump hard. On bars children will learn to pull over the bar, cast, and circle. On rings and parallel bars we teach basic swinging, pushing and pulling concepts. On beam children will play balance games and develop basic dance concepts. On floor we attempt to master basic rolling and cartwheels.
